Social Welfare Work Conducted in Diocese of Gujarat on Independence Day
August 15, 2014The 68th Independence Day of India was celebrated in Believers Church Diocese of Gujarat on 15th of August.
Dr. Ritesh Chauhan, a doctor from a local hospital, hoisted the flag in the morning. After, minor seminary students, staff and Sisters of Compassion took initiative to do a social work in a nearby hospital. The students and staff cleaned the hospital campus as well the inside of hospital too.
The hospital staff appreciated the work done by the team and the hospital chief doctor said that, through this the church has demonstrated the real example of the social work.
Believers Church celebrated the Independence Day throughout all its dioceses by conducting various programs including cultural programs, social works and rallies.
