Believers Church Himachal Pradesh organized a health awareness and social welfare program on World Health Day, 7th April 2015, in a slum.
A Women’s Fellowship team from the diocese went and organized these programs. They took a class on healthy and hygienic habits and how to maintain good health through it. Later, they distributed 20 mosquito nets and 35 Albendazole and Multivitamin tablets to the slum dwellers who gathered there.
The recipients thanked the sisters for the concern shown towards for their better health and also for providing them with these items.
This is just an example of how Believers Church utilizes each opportunity to improve the quality of life of people living in slums, streets and leper colonies.
