Slum Dwellers Receive Clothes on Independence Day in Diocese of Gujarat
August 15, 2014Sisters of Compassion in Believers Church Diocese of Gujarat celebrated Independence Day with slum dwellers on 15th August 2014.
They distributed clothes to poor and needy slum dwellers. Most of the beneficiaries were children. Besides clothes, the sisters distributed multivitamin tablets to women.
All recipients, especially children, were happy to receive the clothes. Sis. Seema a lady came forward and extended her heartfelt thanks to the sisters.
Believers Church works among the poor in the slums by educating them and meeting their basic needs. Like this, the church celebrated this Independence Day with the poor and needy people throughout India.
