Slum Dwellers, Lepers and Beggars Receive Free Food on World Hunger Day in Diocese of Delhi
May 28, 2017On 28th May 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Delhi, distributed food to the hungry and needy, in commemoration of World Hunger Day.
Four teams were involved in the distribution program. They prepared fresh meals, divided them into packets and distributed in two slum areas, a leprosy colony and a market place.
Around 300 people including slum children, child beggars and leprosy affected persons received the food packets on the occasion.
