Slum Dwellers in Himachal Pradesh Receive Food on World Food Day

On World Food Day, Believers Church Himachal Pradesh distributed food to 70 people living in a slum.

A Women’s Fellowship team prepared the food and then served it to the slum dwellers.

They had their meal happily and thanked the church for giving them this food. “My parents are not able to provide me such a good food with their small income,” said Tara, one girl. “But, thank you so much for providing this delicious meal.”

On World Food Day, the Church distributed food to the needy throughout its dioceses to show compassion and raise awareness on poverty and hunger.
