Slum Dwellers and Widows Receive Dry Rations in Diocese of Amritsar

With the COVID-19 crisis intensifying the woes of vulnerable communities, Believers Eastern Church dioceses in India are increasing their efforts to bring relief and hope to more and more families impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Amritsar today extended help to five families in a slum and to five widows who are having a hard time coping with not just the pandemic but also loss of livelihood.

Each family received a relief kit containing 5 kg wheat flour, 3 kg potatoes and 2 kg onions. The beneficiaries were touched by this kind act and expressed their gratitude toward the church.
