Sisters of Compassion Wash Wounds of Leprosy Patients
February 1, 2013A group of leprosy patients were astonished by the care shown by Believers Church Jasidih Diocese on 1st February 2013. In honor of World Leprosy Day, the church arranged a special program in their leprosy colony.
Sister of Compassion washed the people’s wounds and applied ointment. The patients said no one had ever done that before, as people usually hated the sight of the wounds.
The team also distributed medicine to the patients.
Every year, Believers Church reaches out to leprosy-affected people in various places on World Leprosy Day.
