Sisters of Compassion from Believers Church Siliguri Diocese along with a Women’s Fellowship team engaged in social work among a leper colony on the 15th of August.
The sisters cleaned the leper colony and distributed some health and hygiene items.
Sis. Sarita said, “We are very happy that God has given us this opportunity to serve humanity by providing them a ray of hope. People think about how to achieve great things in life, but for us, God has given a small part in serving the poor, and in his sight, it is precious and appreciated.”
Believers Church’s Sisters of Compassion reaches out to the downtrodden and outcasts in the society.
