Sisters of Compassion Conduct Social Welfare Program for Widows in Diocese of Kolkata
December 21, 2014On 21st December 2014, a team of Sisters of Compassion from Believers Church Diocese of Kolkata organized a social welfare program in a remote island for widows.
250 widows who reside on that island received mosquito nets and blankets. They were so happy and thankful towards the sisters for caring for them and their needs.
The church, through its various programs, cares for the needy and downtrodden by meeting their basic needs.
