Sisters of Compassion Clean Wounds and Gifts Bed Sheets to Leprosy Patients in Diocese of Udaipur

Believers Church Diocese of Udaipur distributed bed sheets to 292 leprosy patients on World Leprosy Day, 30th January 2015.

These people are extremely poor and are neglected and uncared for in society. So, this program was organized to show them care and compassion. A team of Sisters of Compassion visited their colonies, cleaned their wounds and distributed bed sheets to them.

“You have cleaned our wounds and gifted us these sheets,” said Bharti Devi, one patient. “Thank you so much for the care and love shown towards us.”

Believers Church organized similar programs throughout all its dioceses on World Leprosy Day to show compassion towards poor and neglected lepers.
