Shillong Diocese Provides Clean Water for Community

Believers Church Shillong Diocese inaugurated an open well in a hilly area on 3rd April 2013. The local people were from a poor background and lacked adequate water facilities. They had to depend on a stream that flowed nearby. Because of the stream’s impure water, many people fell sick often.

The new well has made the community very happy. Twenty-five families now come and draw clean water from the well for drinking, cooking, cleaning and other needs.

Believers Church constructs hundreds of wells for communities like this one every year.
