A team from the Sunday school department of Believers Church Shillong Diocese held a food distribution program on World Food Day, 16th October. Twenty-five food packets were distributed to children in a slum on that day.
The Sunday school team spent some quality time with the children and taught them songs. A three-year-old boy, Pangkas, who is deaf and mute, received a food packet. His parents were very happy and expressed their gratitude toward the church.
