Sewing Machines and Bicycles Distributed to 60 Poor People in Diocese of Bilaspur

On 15th January 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Bilaspur distributed sewing machines and bicycles to 60 poor families in need.

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Mrs. Harshita Pandey (President of State Commission For Women, Chhattisgarh). After addressing the audience, she presented the income-generating gifts to the beneficiaries. Among the beneficiaries, 45 of them received sewing machines and 15 received bicycles.

Kamlesh Bai, a recipient of the gift said, “I am so much thankful to the Church for giving me a sewing machine free of cost. I was unemployed and was struggling a lot to make ends meet. This sewing machine would surely help me to take care of my family well and help us live a better life”.
