Second Tailoring Center Inaugurated in Diocese of Chennai

On 20th October 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Chennai inaugurated its second vocational training tailoring center in a village. 25 women enrolled into the center that day.

Mr. Lingamuthu (MLA) was the chief guest and he inaugurated the tailoring unit. He thanked the Church for opening this center to empower the poor and needy women in their village.

Through this center, the Church will provide a six-month long course on tailoring and other embroidery works which will help these women to make their own income and support their families. The diocese plans to open additional centers in the coming days.
