A Believers Church Aurangabad Women’s Fellowship group distributed 35 biscuit packets on World Food Day. This day was started in 1979 by the Conference of Food and Agriculture Organization.
The goal of the day is to raise public awareness of the world food problem and to unite people against hunger, malnutrition and poverty. Believers Church Aurangabad participates in World Food Day each year.
In October 2012, a Women’s Fellowship team visited a school along with women from the diocesan office. They distributed 35 biscuit packets, 30 “Sachitra Balmitra” books and 30 pencils to children. The little kids were happy to receive the gifts.
This was only one of many World Food Day programs Believers Church arranged in South Asia for the benefit of the hungry.
