The pandemic has upended almost every facet of school education, slowing down the overall learning process of children. While overall education has taken a back seat amid the pandemic, many parents are not able to give adequate attention to the studies of their children, let alone provide them with school supplies as the pandemic has not only taken a toll on their lives but also on their livelihoods.
In order to help such poor families that are unable to support their children’s education, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Nagpur organized a school supply distribution program on 5 December 2021 through Hope for Children.
During the program, school supply kits consisting of exam pad, geometry box, drawing books, ruler, water bottle, eraser, sharpener and a set of pencils, color pencils, sketch pens, and blue pens were distributed to over 70 needy children.
