School Supplies Delight Sri Lankan Students

Believers Church Colombo Diocese gave free school supplies to community children on 9th December 2012 through a Bridge of Hope center in Sri Lanka. Mr. Munidasa (Zonal Educational Officer) participated in the program as a special guest.

Around 200 people gathered for the program. 69 students received school bags, shoes, books, stationery items, lunch boxes and material for uniforms. The gifts delighted the children, ensuring them of another year of schooling.

This is just a small part of Bridge of Hope’s efforts. More than 60,000 children receive school supplies from Bridge of Hope every year, along with nutritious food, tutoring and medical checkups.
