A Women’s Fellowship team of Believers Church Udaipur Diocese celebrated Global Hand Washing Day on 15th October, 2012. The womens team went to a higher Secondary School, Rajkiya Madyamik Vidyala, located beside the national highway from Delhi to Mumbai.
Their goal was to teach the children about the importance of hand washing. They showed a video in the school premises produced by Believers Church.
Subsequently, there was a practical demonstration to show the children how to wash their hands in a healthy way. Also, a few hand-washing banners were hung on the school walls.
At the end of the program, the principal and teachers appreciated the work of Believers Church. Nearly 100 children were educated in this social education program.
Every year, Believers Church makes the effort to teach good hygiene methods on Global Hand Washing Day. Events are organized throughout South Asia for this occasion.
