On 23rd August 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Vizag inaugurated new sanitation facilities in a rural village.
Rev. Fr. N.S. Thomas inaugurated the function and addressed the gathering. In his message, he spoke about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and also about the need of using proper sanitation facilities.
Mr. Rama Krishna (Vice-President of the Village) appreciated the effort that the church has taken to provide sanitation facilities to poor community members.
“Me and my family used to go outside for toilet and some times, we used to get snake bites also,” said Bocha Ravanamma, one among the beneficiaries, “Thank you so much for providing a toilet to my family.”
Believers Church, through its sanitation project aims to promote health and hygiene, prevent disease and preserve the environment by constructing sanitation facilities in rural areas.
