Rice Distributed in Gypsy Colonies on World Food Day

A Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Church Chennai Diocese commemorated World Food Day on the 20th of October. Along with the women’s team, five seminary students and Seminary staff families also participated.

The team prepared 60 food packets to distribute to families living in gypsy colonies. Each food packet contained rice, sugar, urid dhal nd thoor dhal. As the packets were distributed, Sis. Preetha created awareness about not wasting food and about sharing.

Believers Church recognized World Food Day in many locations, taking the opportunity to provide for impoverished communities.
