On September 23, 2024, the Rautahat District Women’s Fellowship Council, under the Believers Eastern Church Archdiocese of Kathmandu, Nepal, organized a “One-Day Mother’s Meeting” at St. Mark’s Believers Eastern Church in Bijaypur, Rautahat district. The event was a special gathering aimed at uniting the wives of priests from the Rautahat district to inspire them in nurturing their children’s spiritual growth and strengthening their families in Christ.
A total of 22 women from Believers Eastern Churches in the Rautahat district participated in the meeting, creating an atmosphere of fellowship and encouragement.
Mrs. Sabita Lama, the National Women’s Fellowship Leader of the Kathmandu Archdiocese, served as the keynote speaker. She delivered inspiring talks on topics such as “Passing on the Faith to the Next Generation” and “How to Build a Family in the Fullness of Christ.” Using biblical stories and practical lessons, Mrs. Lama provided invaluable insights, motivating the participants to deepen their faith and apply these principles in their daily lives.
One of the participants, Sister Nira Thing, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank the Women’s Fellowship Council of Rautahat district for organizing this meeting. I have been blessed by the practical and biblical lessons shared by Mrs. Sabita Lama.”
The event was a meaningful opportunity for the women to bond, learn, and leave empowered to guide their families in faith.
