Ranchi Diocese Provides Toilets for Poor Community

After constructing toilets in a poor community, Believers Church Ranchi Diocese held a health and hygiene awareness program and inaugurated the new facilities on 13th February. Shri Rameshwar Oraon (Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes) and Dr. Sunil Ram (MBBS) attended as chief guest and guest of honor respectively.

“Certainly, this initiative will help our people to have good health and promote a hygienic lifestyle,” said Shri Rameshwar Oraon. Dr. Sunil Ram also praised Believers Church for providing toilets for the community’s use.

Local people were very happy to receive the toilets and thanked the church for making their lives easier and providing health and dignity.

Believers Church’s sanitation project is part of a larger vision to promote health in impoverished communities. The church also provides safe drinking water, vitamins and health awareness classes to those in need.
