Ranchi Diocese Launches Safe Drinking Water Project on Episcopal Day

Believers Church Ranchi Diocese celebrated the church’s Episcopal Day on 6th February by launching a project to provide safe drinking water through bore wells and sanitation facilities. Shri Jai Prakash Bhai Patel (Minister for Safe Water and Sanitation) lit the inaugural lamp.

“The church is engaged in serving the marginalized, destitute lives of all sets of people in the society,” said the minister. “…and is also playing a vital role across our nation in creating an awareness of many hazards to health and rendering free education to those children whose parents cannot afford it.”

During the program, Believers Church distributed 13 bicycles, 56 solar lanterns and 106 blankets to poor community members.

This is just one of the many ways Believers Church is helping those in need.
