Ranchi Diocese Distributes Blankets and Tricycles to Backward Community

Believers Church Ranchi Diocese conducted a gift distribution program for more than 200 people in a backward community on 19th January 2014. The gifts included blankets and tricycles for the physically challenged.

This particular community lives isolated from the main stream of society. All of them are illiterate, extremely poor and lack proper living standards. Learning about their situation from a newspaper, Ranchi Diocese decided to help them out.

Mr. Jai Prakash Bai Patel (Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation and Excise Dept.) attended the function. In his speech, the minister appreciated the activities of the church among downtrodden people.

Believers Church always takes an initiative to make a difference in people’s life. They work among impoverished communities throughout the year, providing basic needs.
