Rallies and Street Plays Raise Awareness on AIDS in Diocese of Odisha

Believers Church Diocese of Odisha held an AIDS awareness rally on World AIDS Day, 1st December 2014. 300 people including diocesan staff, Bridge of Hope children, Women’s Fellowship members, Sisters of Compassion made it a grand success.

HIV is mostly spread due to the lack of proper awareness and it can be controlled even though it can’t be cured completely. So, the Church organized this program to spread this message and help people with care and support.

After the inauguration, they distributed booklets and pamphlets, raised placards and banners, gave personal counseling and also performed skits raising awareness on AIDS.

The church organized similar programs throughout all its dioceses and offices to raise awareness on World AIDS Day.
