Purulia Women and Children Attend Free Medical Camp

Believers Church Kolkata Diocese Sunday School department arranged a free medical camp in Purulia district on 22nd December 2012.

Child specialist Dr. Sukendu Pal and chest specialist Dr. Kiriti Sinha examined around 120 children and 40 women. The children received deworming tablets and other treatment as necessary. The women had their eyes and blood pressure checked.

Most of the women and children were from the slums and could not afford treatment on their own. The church staff was thankful for the opportunity to help them.
