Purulia Residents Give Blood for Their Community
20 May, 2011On 20th May 2011, Believers Church in Purulia, West Bengal conducted a Blood Donation Camp. Purulia is an impoverished area with most of its population falling below the poverty line.
The theme of the event was, “Donate Blood and Win a Life.” Rev. Fr. Joydeb gave leadership to the program. The purpose of this initiative was to stimulate the local people to social service. The church was encouraged when 23 individuals came to donate blood for the sake of their community.
