On 8th September 2010, Pastor Petrus of Pune district, Maharashtra arranged a special community development program for leprosy-affected people. Around 45 leprosy patients gathered for the event, hailing from different parts of Pune.
The patients received warm clothes free of cost during the program, and the women got sarees. These gifts were provided through the generosity of local Believers Church congregations.
