Believers Church Agartala Diocese inaugurated a new well in a remote village on 26th May 2013. This farming community was situated in the hills and lacked a good water source. With no other option, they drank and cooked with polluted pond water that caused frequent sickness.
But the new well has given them an alternative to the pond. “This well is a great blessing for our community,” said the villagers. “And now we are able to fetch clean water in our own village.” One hundred fifty people draw water from this well each day.
Believers Church provides clean water for hundreds of communities each year through bore wells and BioSand water filters.
