Pregnant Women and Children in Delhi Receive Free Multivitamins

A major multivitamin distribution program was organized at the Mukundpur Bridge of Hope center of Delhi Diocese on 9th March 2011. About 2,000 people received multivitamins and deworming tablets free of cost. The beneficiaries were primarily pregnant women and children of the community who were susceptible to diseases cause by vitamin deficiency.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Narayan Sharma from Believers Church Nepal attended the program along with Rev. Fr. Daniel (Vicar General of Delhi Diocese) and several other senior leaders of the church. Bishop Narayan inaugurated the program by distributing multivitamins. He explained to the large audience the benefits and importance of vitamins and deworming tablets.

Along with providing care to the most needy, this program raised health awareness in the community as a whole.
