Poverty Alleviation Program Conducted in Udaipur Diocese

Believers Church Udaipur Diocese conducted a poverty alleviation program on the 30th of September.

Mr . Anil Masih (North India President of All India United Christian Front and the President of Youth Congress) was invited as the chief guest for this program.

Twenty-five people received various beneficial free gifts like sewing machine, solar lights and vegetable vending trolleys.

Mr. Anil Masih, while speaking on the occasion said, “Believers Church is the best that at all times it is lending hands to lift the people from their deprivation.”

Dinesh is living in a hilly region and there is no facility for electricity. They were using kerosene lamps. But now as kerosene is expensive even that was difficult for them to buy. Dinesh received a solar light. He said, “I am very happy for this gift, now my family will have light in the house. We will able to move inside the house freely at night time. Thank you so much for meeting my true need and I shall be thankful to you forever.”

Harish was working as a daily laborer. But due to an accident he burnt his hand and couldn’t work again. He received a trolley as gift. He said, “Now I would put this trolley as a vegetable stall in front of my house and start selling vegetables. I would get some amount of money as profit, which will feed my family members.”

Believers Church through its poverty alleviation program is able to offer a better living condition to those who are given life sustaining free gifts.
