Poverty Alleviation Program Benefits 40 Community Members

A poverty alleviation program was held by Believers Church Chandigarh Diocese on 12th October. The son of local MLA Debender Singh Babu attended the program and was very happy. “This is the first time I heard Believers Church is helping the poor and needy in and across India,” he said. He expressed his gratitude. Forty people received gifts including bicycles, rickshaws, thelas and sewing machines.

“I am very much happy and thankful to Believers Church for gifting me a thela for my daily income,” said recipient Makhan.

Believers Church helps thousands of poor community members each year by distributing income-generating gifts.
