Pokhara Diocese Celebrates Founders Day
March 8, 20148th March 2014, the occasion of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan’s birthday, was celebrated as Founders Day by Believers Church. A Women’s Fellowship team in Pokhara Diocese celebrated the day by distributing packets of sweets among downtrodden people.
Over all 200 sweet packets were distributed to the poor, disabled, lepers, street children and orphans. Sis. Ranjana who was leading the team said, “I am thankful to the Lord because I am able to share the sweet packets and lots of love on the occasion of our Metropolitan’s birthday.”
This small gesture of love was just one of the ways Believers Church celebrated the Metropolitan’s lifestyle of uplifting the downtrodden and needy.
