People with Leprosy get Water to Drink in Odisha Diocese

On the 7th of June a new bore well was installed in a village by Believers Church Odisha Diocese. It was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Devdhar.

Most of the people living in the village are lepers who earn a living by begging. They called the well a blessing from God through Believers Church. Every day around 120 people draw water from the well.

Somraj said, “Before the well, we were facing lots of problems especially during summer times. Now we have water. I want to thank Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan and Believers Church for the new well.”

Believers Church supplies safe water to hundreds of communities each year through bore wells and BioSand water filters.
