Parishes in India Extend Help to Needy Families as Covid-19 Continues to Rage

As India fights the raging second COVID-19 wave, depleting savings and falling incomes are leaving millions at risk of abject poverty. Amidst this crisis, Believers Eastern Church parishes are taking efforts to alleviate the suffering of the poor in whatever way possible.

On 9 May 2021, a parish in Believers Eastern Church Mission Diocese of Churachandpur distributed 50 kgs of rice among needy families in a containment zone.

A small parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Bilaspur helped 20 families with dry ration kits on 8 March.
