Parishes Celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos

On September 8, 2023, parishes of the Believers Eastern Church came together in celebration to mark the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos.

With devotion and heartfelt prayers, members of the church commemorated the birth of the Blessed Mother Mary, who is a gift of God to her childless parents, Joachim and Anna, and to all humanity because from her, our Lord Jesus Christ was born in the flesh. She was chosen among all generations for the fulfillment of the divine plan of God to bring forth the Messiah.

On this joyous feast, the faithful took time to reflect on the life of the theotokos, her unwavering faith, humility, and obedience to God’s will.
