Parishes Celebrate the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

Believers Eastern Church parishes around the world joyfully celebrated the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on September 14, 2024, honoring the Holy Cross through which Christ redeemed the world. The celebration was a profound reminder of God’s boundless love, revealed through the Cross that triumphed over sin and death, offering hope, peace, and eternal life.

A key part of the feast’s observance was the priest raising the Cross, the emblem of our faith, in all four cardinal directions. This act represented the universal nature of Christ’s sacrifice, as the faithful reverently responded, saying “Lord have mercy,” in prayerful unity.
