The ongoing lockdown, in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19, has affected the lives of some of the most vulnerable communities. To mitigate the suffering of the poor and needy, Believers Eastern Church parishes across the country are working tirelessly reaching out to them with food and essentials.
A local parish in Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Dimapur distributed dry ration kits to 25 poor and needy families in a remote village in Dimapur District, Nagaland on 26 May 2021.
The beneficiaries were daily wage laborers, widows, and the elderly. Each family received a kit containing 10 kg rice, 1 kg dal, 1 liter oil, and 2 kg potatoes.
