Parents Day Encourages Children to Honor Parents in the Diocese of Niranam

The Diocese of Niranam observed Parent’s Day in all its Bridge of Hope centers in the month of July. Altogether 3,850 people including 2,400 children attended the programs.

In one of these centers, Rev. Fr. Libiesh was the chief guest of the program. He encouraged the parents to spend quality time with their children every day and be their role models, pointing them back to the role their own parents played. He said, “One should think about their childhood and the love of their parents throughout their life.”

Children gave flowers to parents, and while receiving the gifts most of the parents were emotional and one lady said, “I felt so valuable when my child gave me the gift.”

Similarly, Bridge of Hope conducts Parents Day programs in all its centers to honor and recognize the work of parents.
