The Men’s Fellowship of a local church in Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese distributed packaged lunches to 140 street children on 8th March 2013. Rev. Fr. Chitra started off the program by offering food to a teenage boy named Anil.
This boy has been on the streets for many years—ever since he ran away from his stepmother’s cruelty. He now leads a group of 15 street boys. “I have no idea what I am doing in my life,” said Anil. “But, remember us in your prayer for our future life.”
Many homeless children like Anil received a good meal on this day.
Not only does Believers Church take special initiatives to feed street children, but also provides a home to street boys in Delhi through Asha Grih.
