Overcoming Poverty in Tripura Community

On 7th January 2012, a community development program was organized in Simna District of Tripura under the leadership of Pr. Sadhan (Community Development Project leader). The purpose of the program was to help the needy by freely distributing various items which would enable them stand on their own feet for their survival.

The entire community benefitted through gifts such as pigs, goats, cows, sewing machines, blankets, a rickshaw and a pulling cart. These gifts will strengthen the economic stability of the community. The recipients extended heartfelt thanks to Believers Church for rendering this help.
