In continuation of the winter-aid distribution drive, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Itahari in Nepal conducted blanket distribution programs at four different places this month to help the poor and the vulnerable survive the harsh winter.
The distribution programs were held under the guidance of H.G Theodore Mor Origen Episcopa, Bishop of Itahari Diocese.
Altogether, 92 families received warm blankets through the winter-aid distribution drive. These families are extremely poor and dependent on daily labor for their survival. They extended their heartfelt gratitude to the church for helping them with warm blankets during this cold winter.
Tek Bahadur Sarki said, “I was struggling to sleep at night during this cold winter as I was not having a warm blanket. Thank you for realizing our difficult situation and providing us with quality blankets.”
