Over 500 Needy Children Receive School Supplies in Diocese of Dimapur

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Dimapur organized school supply distributions at five different villages this month through Hope for Children.

The first four distribution programs were held at four different places in Karbi Anglong distrist, Assam from 5 October 2021 to 9 October 2021. The final distribution took place at Dimapur, Nagaland on 12 October 2024.

More than 500 poor and needy children were provided with school supplies such as pens, pencils, erasers, scale, color pencils, geometry box, and writing pads through the distributions. The children were also encouraged to be grateful to God in all things and were motivated to never give up and never quit their studies.

A parent said, “I am thankful to you for providing our children with everything needed for their studies”.

“I appreciate the work of Hope for Children and the church for helping underprivileged children even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic”, said a village elder.
