Over 400 Underprivileged Children Benefit from Free Medical Camp Held in Diocese of Bhubaneswar

Believers Church Diocese of Bhubaneswar organized free medical camps at different places through Bridge of Hope from 10th to 14th October 2017.

The purpose of the camps was to provide free medical checkup to the underprivileged children enrolled in Bridge of Hope so that they would stay protected from possible sicknesses.

Medical professionals from reputed hospitals came and provided free consultation to the children during the camps. They also spoke about the transmission and protection of different diseases and about health and hygiene to bring health awareness among the children and their parents.

Examination of height and weight, blood pressure, and other tests were conducted for the children and medicines for diseases like diarrhea, itching, cold and cough, and many other seasonal diseases were also distributed to them free of cost.

Altogether 420 children benefited from the health check-up camps.
