Over 300 People Benefit from Free Medical Camp Organized in Tripura

Nothing is more precious than the gift of health. In an initiative to give the gift of health to needy communities, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Agartala organized a free medical camp through Hope for Children on 27 August 2022 in West Tripura District of Tripura.

H.G. Anil Mor Philemon Episcopa and Mr. Kamal Kalai, Executive Member of TTAADC were the chief guests at the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kamal Kalai said, “I thank Believers Eastern Church for taking a great initiative for the society-that is to give a bright future to children. Just like the government the church is going this great thing”. Addressing the children he said, “You are the future of this world and if you want to become great you have to study hard. What I am today, a minister of TTAADC, is because of hard work”.

During the camp, experienced doctors provided free consultation to the patients and distributed free medicine among them. More than 325 children and community members benefited from this noble initiative.

Raba Kanya Debbarma, 60 years old, said, “I have been ill for two weeks but due to financial problems I was unable to go for a check-up. Today I got this free medical check-up. Thank you so much”.
