Over 300 Attend the Family and Clergy Conference in Diocese of Colombo

The recent Family and Clergy Conference at Ragama Boys Town saw the participation of over 300 faithful from the Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Colombo. This gathering included clergy, their families, selected elders, and the faithful from parishes across Sri Lanka.

The conference featured various sessions led by His Grace John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa of the Delhi Archdiocese, His Grace Daniel Mor Timotheos Episcopa of the North America & Europe Archdioceses, His Grace Geevarghese Mor Makariose Episcopa of the Colombo and Kigali Archdioceses, and Fr. Dr. Daniel Johnson, the General Secretary, among others. These sessions provided opportunities for interaction, discussions, and prayers, creating a rich and blessed environment.

A significant highlight was the unity displayed by the Tamil and Sinhala communities, who joined together in worship, learning, and praying for their communities and country. To facilitate communication, participants wore headphones as the sessions were translated simultaneously into Tamil and Sinhala.

The conference was a powerful testament to the strength and unity of the church, bringing diverse communities together in faith and fellowship.
