Over 1000 People receive Free Medical Check-ups in Diocese of Colombo

On 12th August 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Colombo held a free medical camp in a rural village. Over 1000 people attended the camp and received medical treatment and care.

The people in this village are tea estate workers and their little income was not sufficient to get proper medical treatment. So, the church organized a medical camp to provide the care that they needed.

45 doctors provided medical services including eye checkups, dental cleanings, echo tests, acupuncture treatment and wound dressing.

The people were so happy for the love and care the church has showed to them through this camp and they also expressed their gratitude towards the church.

The church holds medical camps and health awareness programs in different locations to prevent disease, maintain hygiene and also to provide necessary nutrition to empower people to stay healthy.
