Over a 1,000 Families Benefit Through Income-Generating Gift Distribution in Tinsukia

Believers Church Tinsukia conducted an income-generating gift distribution program on 24th October 2014. 1,025 families received gifts like cycle rickshaws, bicycles, sewing machines and tin sheets.

Most of these families live in extreme poverty and they don’t have any constant jobs or sources of income. Seeing their need, the Church came forward to help being them out of poverty.

“Thank you so much for gifting us these gifts,” said Ram Bihari, a village head. “These gifts will help us to make an income and meet the needs of our family.”

Through its Poverty Alleviation Project, the church gives desperate families a chance to earn an income, become self-sufficient and improve their standard of living.
