Orphaned Children Receive Food on World Food Day

Believers Church Mumbai Diocese provided food for orphans and the elderly on the 16th of October to mark the occasion of World Food Day.

A Women’s Fellowship team and Sisters of Compassion participated. Nearly 90 orphaned children and 60 elderly people received vegetable biriyani and sweets. The whole team felt privileged to serve these individuals.

With the remaining food the women packed 160 packets and distributed them among poor people living on the foot path, railway station and on road sides.

Believers Church uses opportunities like the World Food Day to provide for the needy and the poor.
