A new well was inaugurated in a rural village by Believers Church Itanagar on 23rd March 2013. Previously, the villagers did not have proper drinking water available. They used to collect water from a nearby river—but even that dried up at times. Then they would have to walk two kilometers to fetch water.
The new well makes it possible for villagers to draw fresh water any time to meet their needs. Now that their problem with water scarcity has been solved, the people are very happy. Each day, 30 families draw water from the well constructed by Believers Church.
This village is one of thousands that has been impacted through Believers Church’s water supply project.
